• Treat with care: our ceramics are finely handcrafted and fragile.

• Our glazes are lead-free and food-safe.

• While dishwasher and microwave safe, we recommend hand-washing to preserve their longevity. Avoid microwave and oven use as temperature extremes can cause damage.

• When washing by hand, use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap. Avoid abrasive sponges and opt for eco-friendly detergents in the dishwasher.

• Dry completely after cleaning, especially unglazed surfaces, to prevent moisture stains or oil marks.

• Each piece is wheel-thrown and unique, with subtle variations that embody artisanal craftsmanship.

• All decorative ceramics are handcrafted, making each piece unique and imbued with character. Variations in size, shape, or finish are a testament to their authenticity.

• Some pieces may showcase “micro-cracks” in the glaze. This is a deliberate design effect, part of the ceramic artistry.

• To prevent scratches or damage, avoid dragging items across delicate surfaces. Lift rather than push when repositioning.

• Handle decorative ceramics with care, and clean gently with a soft, damp cloth when needed.

Made to Order vs. In-Stock Items

All our pieces are carefully handcrafted in our Barcelona studio, making each one truly unique. Due to the artisanal nature of our work, no two pieces are exactly alike—subtle variations in glaze color, texture, and form are part of what makes them special.
• In-Stock Items: If a piece is available in stock, it will be shipped within 2 business days after purchase.
• Made to Order & Custom Pieces: Items that are not in stock or made to measure have an estimated production time of 4 weeks before shipping. For orders of more than 10 pieces, please contact us for an estimated timeline.

Packaging

Each piece is securely packaged to ensure the safest possible transportation. We take great care in wrapping and protecting our ceramics for shipping.

Shipping

•Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except for orders over €150 within Spain and €300 within EU, which qualify for free shipping.
•Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
•For orders outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or additional charges imposed by the destination country. Any costs arising from the refusal to accept these charges will be the customer’s responsibility.
•We do not accept returns of shipments refused due to customs disputes (see Returns section).
•Customers may also pick up their orders from our Barcelona studio by selecting this option at checkout.

Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 14 days from the date indicated by the carrier, provided it is unused and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
•The item must be securely packed with the same packaging to prevent damage during transit.
•Refunds cannot be issued for items that arrive damaged, chipped, or broken due to poor repackaging

•Custom or made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Claims & Issues
All our shipments are insured against possible damage during transit. If your piece arrives damaged, we will replace it as soon as possible.
•Any claims must be made within 3 days of receiving your order.
•After this period, Madame Ceramics cannot guarantee assistance with claims or complaints.
•If you discover a functional flaw or are dissatisfied with your order, please reach out to us at info@madameceramics.com within 5 days of receiving your item so we can address the issue.

Each of our ceramics is entirely handcrafted, making every piece truly unique. Natural variations in size, shape, and color are an inherent part of the artisanal process and should be embraced as part of their character.
